
After the removal of the interior plasters (of no historical value) and the partition walls, two large spaces were obtained on each floor, from the street front to the inner courtyard, ready for consolidation work. Externally, the Superintendency decided to maintain and restore the current plaster and finish of the façade on Corso V. Emanuele, which are still in good conservation condition. In contrast to the stone architectural elements, which underwent extensive restoration to make them functional again.
